I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kayla and Bryan at Long Sands Beach in York, ME for their engagement session. The weather was comfortable at sunset, the breeze was minimal, and the tide was out, making for perfect conditions!
We worked through a handful of poses on the beach, as well as a bit of dancing, and these two were just naturals in front of the camera! It’s plain to see that they’re a perfect match, and just love to be close to one another.
York has a barrier of large steps that act as a sea wall between the beach and the road, and the steps were the perfect change of backdrop for a bit of variety.
After that it was time to get adventurous and get our feet wet in the ocean!
The sky was a bit too cloudy to see a colorful sunset, but we did get some dramatic lighting and cloud formations. As things got darker, I decided to set up an off-camera flash to give a more dramatic look, and let Kayla and Bryan pop a bit more against the dark backdrop.
I had a great time photographing Kayla and Bryan! look forward to their wedding day!
